THE industrial landscape has changed dramatically since union barons last challenged a government's right to govern.
The dinosaurs who dominated the 20th century are extinct. So are the giant state-owned industries, wrecked by Marxists like Arthur Scargill.
In his memoirs Hugh Scanlon, Communist boss of the Amalgamated Union of Engineering Workers in the 1970s, admitted union Reds were out to bring the UK to its knees. Jack Jones, who led the TGWU, was on the payroll of the Kremlin's sinister KGB.

I stayed up late last night again. Last week Sophia had a mysterious fever. It wasn’t Dengue, thank God! But it got her down for 5 nights. Some weird virus that just gave her a congested nose. None of the other kids got it, we thought. Until last night, four days after Sophia’s virus had passed, Stella showed the same symptoms. High fever in spurts. She’s fine now. But I assume her fever will spike up again later in the afternoon. No sleep for me again tonight.
Anyway I took a quick break from reading my Steve Jobs book (It is so beautifully written and so painful to read… I mean, my heart hurts with every chapter. Sigh). I needed a diversion. So I started planning some purchases on Cath Kidston online. Here are some of the gift items I found. You can click on the photo and it takes you right to that item online. I know some of you still have questions about Cath Kidston – authenticity, how to ship here. You can click here .
